Is Gout inheritable?

Question

my grandpa, dad, and uncle has gout

my dad have it on and off, sometimes so bad that he can't go to work and have to use crutches.

just wondering if i can get it when i'm older

and i'm a male,18

Yes it is and it hurts!

yes it is possible.it is more common in males as my doctor explained. my dad has it occasionally and when i was 22 i got it, and i'm female!
