Is Gov. Palin a "dedicated mom" of 5 [w/ special needs baby] or more concerned for her political career?

Isn't having a special needs baby, one thing, and commiting YOUR life to raising them quite a bit different? Who do you neglect, 'the People' or the children?

  1. Don't pretend that anyone from the abortion party cares about the Gov's kids.

  2. You would not be asking the same thing if she were a man.

do you not think a man is capable of caring for childred?

  3. She is a woman who knows how to balance career and family. plus Palin's husband is helping with their special needs child.

  4. what should she do? take her shoes off and spend her time in the kitchen also?

If she wanted the "kid" out of the way, to spend more time pursuing her political career, she had the option to abort the baby. (and she knew the baby's condition before it was born)

Let's see... Barack, and his wife, patted themselves on the back as being reared by a "single mom", and represent the American Dream by overcoming adversity and the hardships of such conditions.

Maybe her husband don't mind being, Mr. Mom?

  5. She balances both. Not to mention that once she's VP, I asume her husband will stay at home.

  6. Welcome to the 21st Century where a Mother of 5 can put away the mothers of Socialism.

    Sucks to be you.

  7. Whether or not a candidate has children, even with special needs, has no bearing on their suitability as a candidate. As has been said, her

husband is helping and I'm sure they can afford a professional if need be.

  8. She is a stooge for McCain now.

    Her life is changed forever.

  9. She  is not  and  won't  neglect  no one...

She  will be  just fine  as  a VP if  is  elected...

I  don't  have  any issues her  been a VP  I  Love  the idea  smart  lady.

  10. Kids with DS can learn to do many things and dont need their mother with them every minute of the day

  11. You obviously don't have children and I feel sorry for the ones you will have.  You can serve a public life and personal life.  A baby wit Downs does not have extra needs he has special needs. I have worked with Special ed students and they do just fine in home and school no matter parents career choices.

  12. Sarah Palin  came from a small Alaska... Her political skills are untested...

  13. Neither. We women do it every day. We know how to multitask.

  14. If you're good at what you do you won't have to neglect anyone. I see no reason why she can't have a family and a career. Aren't we beyond this argument by now?

  15. That's the job for a couple of nannys - get a grip people in upper politics in DC always have a nanny or two. Ifs she's doing her job she'll be able to see her kids a couple of hours a day - most days. I'm a working woman who raised several children and it was hard enough with my middle class job, let alone VP for heavens sake.

  16. i don't think we should bash her because she happens to have kids and is in politics, you wouldn't be saying the same if she was a man.

    and I'm a obama supporter.

  17. the ___stupid woman___ said

" I never wanted to run for President"

She cannot deal with those terrorists

    _she looks stupids___& sounds stupid.

    ___

those muslims will take over this country if American's keep playing games.

    ___vote obama____

  18. This is 2008... women are not tied by the apron strings to their homes anymore.. her husband has a job.. are you judging him.  Obamas wife has a job.. should she be staying home... should he?

Don't be a fool.  women are quite capable of doing it all.. the days of sticking them in the kitchen and forgetting them are over.  Are you some kind of male chauvinist?

  19. she is pro-life, she hunts, she is a member of the NRA, she has 5 kids, she is a "good christian woman" all things the republicans are using to get the "average" (especially rural) women to vote for them.

yet they don't want these same women to get healthcare or our public schools to get decent teachers and decent funding!

    it's her image!

    i see right through it!!

  20. She has a baby with special needs but is furthering her own political aspirations. I think she is much more concerned with her political career and self interests than her kids.

    .

  21. Gov. Palin is under investigation for abuse of power.

  22. must be a male.  men can only do one thing at a time,.......,

  23. she will neglect everyone from the 49 states that don't begin with "Alask"

She admitted that she wants to help Alaska...already the state with the highest federal pork per capita.

  24. How dare you tell her she shouldn't serve because she has children. Did you forget the baby under JFK's desk and the little ones running around in the White House yard or was that OK since he is a man? Palin is the RIGHT choice. You weren't going to give her a chance anyways, be honest with yourself, so take your sexism elsewhere. She has a strong family, a husband and older children that will help care for her child. She already has a full time job as GOVERNOR.

  25. Obama has kids. Are you saying that Barack Obama neglects his kids?

  26. i really dislike this question.  i disliked it when it the same type of question was thrown at edwards.

what i do know is that mccain cheated on his faithful wife and when he returned from service, he left her for his current wife.
