Is Graham Henry doing a good job?

Question

I found the press after game comments of All Blacks versus Romania very negative. Henry responded well in my opinion, but how do you think he is doing as manager?

Personally, I think he is great and to get negative comments about the AB'S performance after notching up 80+ points was sick. Frank once was disappointed! So what do we have to do to please the NZ public?

I think he has done wonders. The guys have never seemed happier.

It's the little things that make a big difference. Like playing soccer and a few beers with the Portuguese team. He really didn't have to do that but that's what the RWC should be all about.

He has done so much to make positive changes, ahead of his time, must be commended. As should all the coaching and management staff. Hanson and Smith play huge roles in coaching - spreading the load - putting heads together and coming up trumps. Everything in life is much easier when you are surrounded by on to it, good, professional people working together toward a common goal.

Who the h**l will replace them ?

Graham Henry is the best coach we have seen for many years.  Add to that his man-management skills, his great media tact and the opportunity he has given to every player to make the best XV and we find a first class all-round coach.   These attributes have been acquired and built upon over very many years to such a stage that he could not be refused the job.  

What do the yobs expect of the team?  100+ points every game.  Ridiculous.

Players may be disappointed on occasion on their omission or on-field replacement, but their respect for Graham's decision never seems to be questioned in the overall interests of this happy World Cup Team.

Remember, though, that there is an official manager, but his task seems to be confined to arranging for the team to get to the ground on time and on to the pitch as required.  He is not the man-manager.

I think he's doing a fabulous job as coach.  With regards to his post AB vs Romania interview he got his guard up too quickly.  He's obviously going to field questions from the media about the intensity & potential of the All Blacks and he needed to take that with a grain of salt.  Instead of being curt & dismissive he should have slipped into PR mode.  But that's easy for us to say from our armchairs!

the NZ public are very harsh on our sporting pepole.Especilly rudby.

i dnt know y so many people r saying the all blacks arnt playing good they played a bad game vs scotland nd still won by 40 points nd you must know your going good when yu can win ugly graham is doing a excellant job they guna bring it home this year!
