Please help. We're going to P.R. next week and my husband wants me to find a waterpark. I looked up some of the ones from my previous post, but then I found this one in Gran Canaria called Aquasur, but it's confusing, because it says it's part of the Canary Islands. Is Puerto Rico a Canary Island too? Is Aquasur on the island of Puerto Rico? Sorry for my confusion, this is a first time out of the US for us.

  1. no, the canary island is not related to PR

there its a lot of places called PR

but if u look for waterparks in puerto rico island, it would come out some info. u have to specify PR as an island for everything, or otherwise u will get PR all over the world.

we have a waterpark at salinas PR in the albergue olimpico,  they also have a zoo. i think there is another waterpark in PR, but im not sure where.

  2. There is a place called Puerto Rico in the Canary Islands(Gran Canaria) of Spain.  There is also an island in the caribbean called Puerto Rico. They are completely seperate. I believe you are looking for Puerto Rico the caribbean island. Correct?? Or are you going to Spain? If you are going to the caribbean, then Look at El Tuque waterpark & Las Cascadas waterpark. Have fun.

  3. The only park I know of is the one in Aguadilla, the one the girl on top of me mentioned. Aguadilla is all the way to the west, next to or close to Mayaguez, Aguada, Rincon, Isabela.

Its hot as h**l to down there so have fun in my beautiful island.

  4. There are 2 big water parks. One is Las Cascadas located in the city of Aguadilla, and is our biggest water park. The other is in the city of Ponce, called El Tuque. Both can be found easily because both are located on Highway #2. Good Luck

  5. The Canary islands are on the Atlantic, close to Spain. They belong to the Spanish. Puerto Rico is in the Caribbean, the smallest of the Greater Antilles, it`s also the southern point of the Devils Triangle. There`s a good water park in Aguadilla on the west coast, they have an airport and some airlines will fly you there. In the Metropolitan area there`s Rio Loco in Dorado, and Rio Mar in Rio Grande, but the best water park you will find is in our beaches. Secure your valuables and travel in groups, I`m sure you will not have any problems because most people here are very friendly, but I believe in staying safe. Enjoy your stay and have a ball.   P.S. Also make sure that you use a high pfp sunblock and lots of it. You want to protect your skin from burning, we`re a lot closer to the Equator. Good luck and God bless.

  6. Gran Canaria is part of the Canary Islands chain that are part of the Kingdom of Spain. They are located off the northwestern coast of Africa and make up two provinces of the country. There is a resort called Puerto Rico on Gran Canaria that is visited by many tourists. They do have a waterpark and many resort style hotels.

  7. No PR isnt part of Canary Islands. The best water park in PR is in aguadilla (west coast of the island). heres a link describing it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Cascada...

the admission price is adults (over 13) 15.95. kids (4-12yrs) 13.95 and under 3yrs free. They are opened sat - sun from 10am - 5pm.

  8. LAs Cascadas in Aguadillas and theres other one called El Tuque in Ponce/Salinas
