Is Green Day still performing???

I haven't heard much of them at all for a long time. I was wondering if they still were performing or making albums or things like that. Or are they just splitting into different bands right now?

Well I know that Simple Plan (GD and SP sound alot alike, to me) just made a new song called, "Your Love Is Just A Lie".
