Is Guild Wars Platinum Edition Worth it?

It contains Original and Eye of the North. For 39.99 dollars, is it worth buying since Guild Wars 2 is coming out like in one year. Also, do people still play it? Thanks

yes my opinion is buy it , no one knows when GW2 is gonna be release because it has not been said, probably from 2009-2010  and there are always people playing GW
