Is HD radio worth it?

Will the format stick around awhile?

The impact of HD-Radio varies in different areas.  Go to http://www.hdradio.com and you can see which stations in your area are broadcasting in HD, and what new HD-only channels are available.  If you like formats that aren't widely available on traditional FM radio (like Spanish-language or Jazz, for example) then you may find a new HD channel in your area that will make the switch worthwhile.  

I don't expect the format to go away soon.
