  1. Slightly dangerous but not too much. That is because his experience still not yet enough to be as accurate as champions.

  2. no hes a young talented passionate fresh winner who gives it his best 150 percent.

  3. maybe yes or maybe not..

he loses his control during Canada GP when he hit kimi at the pitlane..

  4. No, he's not a dangerous driver. At the moment, there is just too much pressure on him to be like he was at the very begining of his debut. Therefore he is making alot of mistakes latley.

  5. Yep.

If he hit someone at 200mph he might hurt him.

    Slow is safe.

  6. Yes. Safe drivers have no place in F1. It's absolutely not the point of Motorsport.

  7. i dnt think so,tho i support kimi i cnt help sayin hes a fantastic driver

  8. Does anyone remember Yuji Ide? He got kicked out because he was a p**s poor driver. He couldn't even drive a wheely bin with a Dairylea carton as a steering wheel.

The worst F1 driver at the moment has got to be Massa. Undoubtedly he has improved but how much of that is the car? The only reason he got re-hired at Sauber is because Ferrari paid Peter Sauber copious amounts of money to get him in a car for when a driver vacancy arose at Ferrari (which did when Barrichello left). He will be gone in 2010 anyway because Alonso and Vettel will be at Ferrari then (you heard it here first folks!!).

  9. well no but he is heading that way....

  10. YES !!

  11. Well, I agree with Kimi: Crashing into a guy (Sutil) going 200 on a track and running into a stopped car on the PIT LANE are two completely different things.

Hamilton just missed that big, red, flashing thing. And the big red car in front......hm.

Well, at least Kubica won. I'm a Ferrari and BMW fan. Never liked McMerc, though.

  12. Yes. He's not as dangerous as Juan Pablo Montoya and Jacques Villeneuve were, but still is dangerous. You can never know what he's going to do next...

  13. When the odds are stacked against him he seems to lose a few screws in his head like in France this year for example!! Even in practice when there is nothing to prove ( compared to qualifying) he stuffs things up.

  14. no

he just hasn't been consentrating on what happening and the presure is getting to him and making him wild

  15. Oh, yeah! It's better to avoid this unlucky boy!

  16. it's their job to be dangerous

  17. I would not regard him as dangerous but he is inclined to be naive on occasions.

  18. No Hamilton is not a dangerous driver.....

  19. Of course not.  But I'm not sure that most of the answerers here understand just how insanely fast an F1 car is and how much effort it takes just to keep it on the track.  Take a look at this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aLjE0xwy...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHHqbtEmf...

All of these drivers - - whichever team they drive for - - are on or very close to the limit almost all the time.  So Hamilton has had two gentle taps (Alonso with a closing speed of - what 10-15mph) and Raikkonen with a closing speed of - what 10mph); so what?

If he had a superiour car like Schumacher had for so long, it would be much easier but his car is simply "competitive".

  20. You have to bear in mind that he has only been in F1 for 15 months and that he's still pretty young. You could argue that "if he's in F1, he should be mature enough to play with the big boys" but I think everyone comes into their own. He's still making mistakes but he needs time to learn.

Other drivers have crashes all the time, and F1 is a dangerous sport. But you could say that about other races, rugby and extreme sports. All the candidates are aware of the risks and still put themselves forward.

Hamilton has some really magic moments and we can't penalize him like the media does for any blips. He can drive well and I have no doubt in my mind that one day the Championship will be his - due to his fantastic skills at racing.

  21. Yes, I don't wan't to be driving next to him on a street. He'll kill me.

  22. are you flaccid and living in France? (genuine question)

  23. He is bordering on being dangerous.

He needs to calm down a bit and be more aware of what is going on around him. I am suprised he hasnt caused more crashes. I guess the other drivers around him are experienced enough to know when to avoid the idiot.

Smashing into someone in the pitlane is such a basic error, as is tagging your team mate and blatantly overtaking and cutting the corner.

A weekend to put down to experience I think.

And whoever said Massa is the worst driver.......idiot!!

  24. Apparently you havent seen the likes of Montoya, Sato, Ide et al

I dont think Hamilton to be a dangerous driver yet, but if he continues to flaunt the rules then he has great prospects in getting that kind of a tag.

  25. he is a good driver , he is very young for F 1 but he will be world champion soon

  26. Dangerous? no.

    Aggressive? yes.

    Formula 1 good? yes.

A world beater this year? no.

  27. Only if you stand in front of him.

Mind you, saying that, he is a man. I've just had my car written off by a man who couldn't reverse. The poor thing was parked up all on its own and wallop, a MAN driver took it out :(  Oops sorry, sidetracked then...........

  28. No

Is Massa a Dangerous driver for hitting Couthard?

Is Kimi dangerous for hitting Sutil?

Is Alonso dangerous for hitting Nick in Monaco?

    You get my drift

  29. yes and a idiot Michael told lewis last year you have to keep a cool head and watch with your eyes especially in the mirrors but it seems Lewis is getting a bit of a big head and taking no notice. lewis asked schumi for some help. this was at Turkey 2007. before the race.
