After AndrewSymonds chapter , probably Bhaji easily loss his temper & slap Sreesanth. Not only that in 2002 he scuffles with police outside a Guwahati hotel. Once upon a time Bhaji also accuse our controversial coach Chappell of "double standard " & "fear of insecurity in team".

  1. Bhajji has been let go many times because the BCCI kept backing up his bad behaviour and making excuses for it.  Sreesanth is no better.  Both should be let go by the BCCI.  If the BCCI is true to cricket and what cricket stands for they should immediately banish both of them.  This will also teach the new and upcoming cricketers that there is a limit to the so-called aggressive behaviour and that they can't expect to get away with bad behaviour.  I am sure the Australians are having a good laugh now.

  2. he is not at all a gentlemen in a gentle game and not at all sporty.....

  3. bhajji is a brilliant cricketer but no one shud loose his temper and physicallly attack other players i think bhajji shud be banned for 17 matches

  4. no

  5. He's India's Shoaib Akhtar. Very talented but very foolish. Both have wasted their talent on slapping and fighting with people. Shoaib had slapped Bob Woolmer and his fights with his teammates are very (in)famous. And it seems Harbhajan seems to be on the same track.

My Mom says - "If you make a mistake, BE A MAN and face it". By what we have seen from Harbhajan, he's not a man. He didn't even publicly apologize to Sree and had the guts to tell the media that "I'm here to talk about cricket". Grow some respect, JACK*SS !

  6. All his aggression is required for the game; but needs to be directed towards the ball only.

No doubt he should be 'punished' so that this behaviors does not continue. But Sree, being a friend should not have made any comments at that time. Also we do not know the tone of that comment. As Sree is no less.

To Sniggdha: On hearing Sree cried, Bhajji did go to the dressing room and apologised to Sree.

But the damage was done. His crying in front of the whole World to see is what started it all.

Anyway, Bhajji is suspended. And disciplining will follow.

These cricketers are rough and tough. not the gentlemen any more.

  7. He is indeed a "gentleman". The problem is - he is not a clever politician who can hide his true and honest emotions. He gives it back - there and then, and does not burden his mind, which shows in his apology to Sreesanth.

In "political" and "mannered" world, this is an offense.

By accepting Harbhajan's apology, Sreesanth has also shown that he too is a "gentleman".

Why are we bent on spoiling someone's career with making an issue out of small, off-the-field incident, which is actually closed by the two persons concerned.

  8. He is an outstanding player but he is not a gentleman!

How can someone call him a gentleman after watching on TV and reading the reported news below?

"…Mumbai Indians skipper Harbhajan Singh reportedly slapped his IPL rival and team India mate, Kings XI Punjab team’s fast bowler S Sreesanth, reducing the latter to tears. The brawl apparently took following an argument that took place during the match. Eyewitness to the ugly incident said that after the match, when a smiling Sreesanth walked up to Harbhajan and said "Hard luck", the fiery sikh lost his cool and hit Sreesanth under the eye.

At the post match press conference, Harbhajan Singh refused to answer questions on the incident at the post-match press conference. "Can we have questions on just cricket," he said. His opposite number, Kings XI captain Yuvraj Singh was however forthcoming in his views, terming the incident ‘unacceptable’. "This is really an ugly incident," Yuvraj said, "this is totally unacceptable." He added…

  9. Harbhajan is no gentleman.Last few months went criticizing Australians for their behavior and supporting Bhajji. Now what?Even Harbhajan has done the same.Wining and loosing is just part of a game, that doesn't mean that one should cross the limits. It would have been so nice to see Bhajji hugging Sree instead of doing all that drama.Bhajji should be sporting and should applaude for the opp. team rather than slapping opponents. He should be dealt seriously to keep up the spirit of CRICKET

  10. Offcorse he is a very nice player & gentleman too. He did a mistake just because of Sreesanth.

  11. I think the matter must be closed if the answers are equitable. Bhaji is a aggressive man and too is Shree they both must be taught how to control their body and mind. Bhajji must say sorry to Shree when the whole media is present instead of takin it upon himself.

  12. There is no point in digging graves and the fact is Sreesanth acts as he is mafia Don on the field and in one slap he cried like a w***e.

  13. If he is a gentleman, then cricket is no longer a gentle man's game. He is just a r****d and jerk and needs to be thrown

away.....I have less sympathy for him and I have lost it.....

I have never disliked any Indian players irrespective of how

arrogant they were - but in this case he has piled all those

arrogance and has added the physical slapping part to his

gentleman career. So it should end right now.....

  14. both are asset to the team

    incident is an unfortunate event.

first of all Shree should have maturity what to talk and what not to be talk in wrong situation.

Bhaji need to control his emotion in public.

both are on wrong side - but reconsiled to the situation - and brought the situation to normal by exchanging reciprocal apologies.

it is a matter between the two (though it had happend before the Camera)

As something happend within the family let us all forget what has happend.

let us close the case, treating it as personal affair and they have come to some understanding.
