Is Hasek done.?

yeah bra if osgood keeps up what he did in the playoffs the so to say "dominator" (domonik hasek) will be traded or will be a free agent heck hemight even retire so yeah hes probably done

Hasek, almost cost the wings a first round elimination.  Granted the Preds weren't hitting the back door like they should've been. However The Preds showed everyone that Hasek is done for , He's old. It's time to retire. You can't give up 2 goals in 23 seconds during the playoffs. If Babcock hadn't pulled Hasek, I do not believe that the wings would have the cup right now.

Hasek might not be done, but he is with the Wings. Wings will want to bring up their goalie prospect Jimmy Howard next season to back up Ozzie.  Hasek is too much of a financial burden to be on the bench.

He came within a whisker of retiring last summer, but now there is really no reason why not. He just won the Stanley Cup, he's 43 years old, and he finished up this season by being demoted to back-up. This is his time, and I will be shocked if he's back next season.

I believe he is 43 years of age and ability-wise is far past his NHL prime. The man should give it up.

Love his style, great career, my favorite goalie alltime.  That said, he's age is showing, and has the chance to go out with another cup.

probably isn't he like 50 now or something... i think at this point late in his career only team he could really be good for is the red wings given their defense...

The schlonganator: we all would have thought he would retire long ago. I think he did then came back? He's like a bad rash...just keep coming back and back and back. I never like his unorthodox play being a goalie myself. Great, athlete questionable goalie, old man.
