  1. LOL

NO Hawthorn's season is far from gone! How do you get to that, they're second on the ladder and a top Premiership contender!!

Tigers probably won't make the 8 they have poor percentage. Probably finish 9th again :) Good win today though.

  2. It shows where Buddy Franklin's heart lies. He is obviously more focused on scoring 100 goals this season than he is on the team's success.

I hope he, & the team, miss out.

  3. Did tigers win?!?

The game isn't shown here.. we get the freo game, grrrrrr!!!

    EDIT:

29! know one was expecting that! how many did buddy kick, every one thought he would reach 100 today.

    EDIT:

    ahahaha

    thanku by the way!

That means buddy will probably reach 100 goals against eagles next weekend in his home state!

  4. No, We (Richmond) needed the win more than Hawthorn.

Hawthorn is going to play Bulldogs in the first week of the finals whatever happens in the last few rounds.

The Hawks will lift for the finals and Buddy will be better once he gets the 100 goals out of the way.

  5. Possibly!

Wasn't it Richos 300? They may have lifted for him. It would have been nice if that milestone had been given more media - I had no idea until after the game!

  6. No. Richmond had far more riding on the game and copped a blast in the media after an insipid performance against Adelaide.

Wallace and the Tigers set themselves for the game and the Hawks were beaten by a side that on the day had more to play for and was fierce at the contest.

Lets see them back it up before we get carried away about Richmond.

As for Hawthorn ... 15 wins in the season so far speaks louder than that performance. Poor kicking, poor decision making and they looked flat. They still fought it out but just couldn't get into the game (innacuracy at goal definitely helped the Tigers cause).

  7. The Mighty TIGERS were brilliant today, battled hard, chased down opponents, their pressure was a highlight of the game, forcing the hawks into mistakes made by under 13's.

The hawks aren't gone as such, i don't think they were ever a serious contender to the Cats, their supporters got way ahead of themselves, i'll tell ya right now, geelong will play the kangaroos in the grand final.

To miss football up there, Richo playing his 300th would have nothing to do with it, we were bad last week and personal pride would have more to do with it, besides you want to learn a bit more about the game, his only played 274, get you facts straight, just goes to show it had nothing to do with why we won.

go tigers, we wont play finals, could even drop the last game to melbourne, we are 3rd youngest side in the league, we are going to be up and down a bit untill these young blokes get at least 50 games under their belts,  no brown or foley too, great effort.

  8. a bit of both

  9. So the Hawks lose one game and now their season is gone?

Every team has it's bad performances, and the Hawks just happened to have theirs today (not taking anything away from the Tiges). It's probably better that the Hawks lost now, because they will be pumped going into September.

Good on the Tigers, their pressure was fantastic! I still don't think they can play finals, but there are positive signs there for next year.

  10. I've said from day one that Hawthorn would fold when the crunch comes. They are more up thermselves than any other AFL team. OK, give me thumbs down blah blah blah.....but I've said that Buddy is too full of himself to be able to play under pressure (3g 6b) sez it all!).

I have a swag of their players in my dream team so it's goodbye for my finals hopes - Roughead, Riloli, Mitchell (he's my blasted captain, for goodness sake!!!). What a mob of pretenders.

Good luck to Richmond. At least they showed some guts.

  11. NO it isnt but i know mathmaticly if Hawks and Dogs lose every game from now n crows win all they can be second
