Is Higgins the best in the world?

John Higgins has been the best player on the snooker circuit over the course of the 2009/10 campaign and should take over Ronnie O’Sullivan at the top of the world rankings in the very near future.

However, the Rocket is still the most naturally gifted professional snooker player in the world and on his day can storm to victory over any opponent. If he fails to add more silverware to his collection, though, he will end his career feeling like he could have achieved far more than he has. It would be a travesty if he doesn’t.

No he is not. Ronnie O'Sullivan is, has been and probably always will be the best in the world even though he, himself, would often disagree with this becasue he's f...ed in the head more often than not.
