Of course. Vice Presidency is still a step up from being a junior Senator from New York.

She wants it, but I think he would be nuts to take her.  The way I see it, either one would have gotten most of the democratic voters.  If Hillary won, she would have lost the Clinton haters and those opposed to a female president.

If Obama won, he would have lost the racists (I am generalizing, of course)

Together, they lose all three of the categories above, and those that the may have picked up are mostly already included in the democratic majority.
