Is Hockey the most punk rock sport there is?

Speed, violence, missing teeth, beer, humble people that don't talk about how great they are, and do it for love instead of money...

I think Rugby might be a close 2nd, but as a punk rocker and sports fan, I gotta say hockey = punk rock!

it comes down to qualities and characteristics u have to hae to make it for all the way to the nhl

tough

able to sacrifice

commited

respect teamates

respect fans

and you have to respect your coaches

play with a purpose greater than your own glory

able to play as a line not a single player

Not afraid of what might happen

and having those traits makes you what you say makes hockey a punk rock sport there is not one T.O. in the NHL

The Wings go on a powerplay you hear h***s Bells by ACDC.

Slayer has a cool hockey song called Scrum ,those guys are big hockey fans too. We need more punk/metal songs during the games.

Hockey = Thrash/punk
