Is Homescholing?

Is Homescholing only in the united States i dont live there and iv never heard of anyone that got homescholed where i live

You may not know the term "homeschooling".  It is called "home education' in England and there may be folk in your town doing it  without any fuss and bother.

Google the concept in your area, and you may come up with a group or committee that is part of the regional support system.

Now, of course, there may be but few in your country.

It's not legal in the Netherlands except for religious reasons or for illness. That's why you won't have heard of it.

Homeschooling is big in the UK, as well as in Canada and the US. It exists elsewhere, too, but I think these three areas are where it's probably the most popular.

NO! It is just has more arguments about it which of course shows it's popularity. I live in Jamaica an island in the Caribbean Sea and it is there just not on a large scale and by the way the main reason why it 's so popular in the Us is because gossip spreads fast (*laugh*)

Actually pugs, homeschooling has 3 Os.  I always find it humorous when people correct someone incorrectly.  Thanks for the chuckle :)

say its for health reasons unless ur Religous then say that and get taught at home

There is a strong homeschooling movement.  Under law parents can refuse to send their kids to public schools if they don't teach religious or morality as the parents view it should be taught.

There are homeschool organziations in the Netherlands, mostly in the Belgium part.
