Is Honey Mustard Sauce Healthy?

I have read some recipes containing mayonnaise, but let's leave those out of the question. More specifically I'm talking about the stuff they give you at Subway. I was wondering if it would be alright to eat with a turkey sub with lettuce on whole wheat. If theirs is not good for you, is there any brands that are? Probably a really dumb question, but I am intrigued.

  2. I'm sure it's fine as long as you're not consuming a vat full. But it does have fat and sugar so if you're trying to lose weight or something you may want to stay away from it. Honey mustard is my favorite condiment, and no one talks s-h-i-t about my favorite condiment.

Probably anything made with mustard (and no sweetening) would be both flavorful and without sugar.   I would suggest if you are having a sandwich at home, a little bit of a flavored vinaigrette would be a nice touch.  My favorite comes in rasperry...makes a sandwich more interesting!  (and low cals too)  :)

  4. I haven't heard that honey-mustard sauce is bad for you...long as you feel comfortable with eating it then eat on...
