Is Horseradish and mustard dangerous?

I was wondering, I read something on mountain rose herbs about capiescin and it said that unlike mustard,(horseradish and garlic) capiescin only gave the sensation of pain, but did not actually cause damage or real pain to the human body. It merely depletes the a substance the body uses to alert itself to pain.

I've been reading that horseradish contains volatile compounds that open ur sinuses and stuff. These compounds are used to protect the plant, and that they actually damage animal tissues when animals consume them.

So I was wondering do they damage humans too? Why is there no information on their negative effects on humans? I can only find positive stuff.
