Is Howletts zoo in Kent worth going to?

Thinking of visiting tomorrow with 3 children aged 11 months, 3 years and 6 years

I have been twice with my children and really enjoyed it the first time as warm and sunny and all the animals out. On the second visit, a wet cold day not so enjoyable as most of it outside, and many of the animals not around. Thought the animals had a great enviroment to live in, well set out, and lots to see.
