Is Hubei, China near Beijing, China? If so, how many minutes would it take you from Hubei, China to Beijing?

Hubei is not particularly close to Beijing. From Wuhan (the capital of Hubei province), you can take the overnight train, which is 8 or 9 hours, depending on the boarding time. (They could actually make it last less time, but they make it long enough that passengers get a nights worth of sleep before arriving in Beijing).

If you fly from Wuhan to Beijing, the flight is quite short. It's less than two hours.

I have taken the train and flown between the two cities.
