  1. It can be good exercise, but it can really aggravate some peoples back and hips.  It is good exercise if you don't have any existing joint problems.  If it works for you without causing you pain it is good.

  3. If you already have back issues, I would be VERY CAREFUL! I started hula-hooping a month ago & now I have to take 3 Ibuprofen every night just to get to sleep. Be Careful!!

  6. its great for a midsection workout,its ok for your back so long as its in order,because your not actually bending over which can then increase spinal load to excess.

  11. yup, it helps with range of motion and strengthens core muscles, I wish I could still do it. It is not like riding a bike, i kinda can't do it anymore. Pathetic I know, do it while you still can!
