Is Hurricane 'Gustav' God's way of telling republicans he doesn't want them to have a convention?

I was told that 9/11 and Hurrican Katrina was god's wrath for homosexuality and abortion, curious if that rationale applies elsewhere

  4. The only reason why people will die is if they don't get out of there. The mayor has told them to leave and that there will be no support if they stay. In my opinion you have to be stupid not to leave. Then again those not leaving are probably looters.

  15. No , it only gives us a chance to trade in Gustav for Obama. One is bad for a region and the other, Oh God, for the whole  nation. Ones effect is short lasting and the others, Oh no, for 4 years.
