  1. No your not in danger in Houston, so stay put....Rain & wind is all your going to see.

  2. it's along the projected path,  and it's already a category 4

  3. It's not coming here, we won't let it in.

  4. Wait until late Sunday or Monday. We wont know what will happen until it passes Cuba. But if you were here for Rita or Katrina you know how fast they can change it's path. It went from a tropical storm to a cat 3 over night so this could be bad. But wait until it enters the gulf.

But be prepared and do what is best for your family. Stock up on food and water and have a full tank of gas ready. Flashlights&batteries and candles are good to.

We rode out all the storms up if this one turnes into a katrine and turnes to head towards us we will probably leave.

Also, if it does come for us make sure you tape up your windows or board them up.

Good luck and be safe. :)

  5. yeahp, i live in houston and ive stocked up on food and water and have updated my will

  6. you idiots, no nothings going to happen. The media blows things like this up to have you dish out money at your walmarts and sam's clubs for the economy to gain some stability.

  7. Depending on a number of factors, Gustav COULD come here. Depending on your location in the Houston area this could be of some concern.

Be prepared and you'll be fine. Stock up on non-perishable food, water, batteries, and candles (be sure to burn candles safely). Have some cash on you in case power goes out and you need to pay for something. Gas up beforehand.

Don't worry about buying cases of water. That's the first thing people buy when they hear about hurricanes. Clean bathtubs and fill them for washing and cleaning. Fill pitchers and coolers for drinking. Make ice and store it in the freezer until needed. Non perishable food is canned or packaged stuff that doesn't require refrigeration. Mind you, it becomes less non-perishable when opened.

  8. Currently, it is not coming tour us.. but we are in the cone.. so there is possibility that it can hit us..

    stay update with this track

    and your local news..

get ready tho.. like buy food, water, supplies, etc..

    good luck!
