  7. Most likely not, if it does it would be in the form of a tropical storm or depression which would just be a couple thunderstorms and 30-50 MPH winds.  Nothing too bad. Chances are it will stop going west when it gets to south of central Texas then start head NE and begin to diminish as hurricanes need warm water to stay at strong.  It can however maybe reach a catogory 5 which is the highest most dangerous category which is what Katrina was and can do serious damage to Florida, Louisiana and Texas as well as extreme eastern Mexico and surrounding states

  12. Do yourself a favor my dear and look at the radar screen. Gustav is in the Gulf of Mexico. South Carolina borders the Atlantic Ocean.

  16. No Gustav is in the gulf and it is either going to hit, Florida, Alabama , Louisiana or Texas, You don't know where your states are very well do you.

  17. No, it's on the other side of Florida in the Gulf.  You might get some rain from it, though.
