Is IB big in Europe?

I go to an IB school in the U.S., and whenever I tell locals, they seem to be impressed. In Europe, are IB schools looked upon in the same manner?

Of course. The program is above average but not many people know about IB in Europe. A lot of people told me that it's better to go to school in U.S. and if you want to live in Europe, you will get a high paying job for sure.
