YOOO i just finished the IB program this summer, and i did surprising well. i ended up getting a 38 and was so surprised. why? because i didnt believe myself.

so tip number one, believe in yourself! so many people scared me into thinking it was sooo hard and so little people do well, but im not really smart, i have a B+ average, but i ended up doing well.

also, put effort into your internal assessments. u might think that they are not important but all the points add up. seriously.

same for t.o.k and extended essay, keep up with the deadlines and keep making drafts and showing them to your supervisor, thats what i did.

C.A.S was a joke to me, i ended up forging all the signatures for my active hours, and i wasnt caught. i just said that i joined a gym in my area :S, haha, loads of people did that, so ...concentrate more on your subjects, then internal assessments and the e.e and t.ok essays, and lastly on C.A.S

Keep up with deadlines, and do your homework, and you'll be fine.

It does get a bit tough at the beginning of 12th grade because not only are you focusing on getting internal assessments done, as well as t.o.k and e.e, but you're also applying to colleges. so my advice would also be to think about university in the first year so you're not frantically finding out courses in 12th grade. get that sorted out before so its a more easy process.

but remember, the IB is more important right now than your social life. you can always have fun, especially in Uni, but the IB comes around once. actually you can retake exams but that is such a hassl.e

well it is but its not for the following reasons.

- u have to be smart no matter what

-organize your time

-common sense

-very organized overall

-DONT PROCRASTINATE

It will be hard first 3-4 months but you will get over it right away don't worry. but u r obviously in IBO cause your smart so it will be easy, for normal b passing academic students it will be torture but other then that you should get use to it.
