what i heard from my counselor is that out of 100 students in the calgary catholic district only 5 people gain benifits after taking IB for all 3 years of high school. im not sure what it is where you live but thats what i heard.

Im half way into senior year, if it wasnt for medical marijuana I'd be completely insane at this point. Turn back, turn back now. I would have a 4.0 in normal classes, and have 3.1 in IB, the kids are all crazy back stabbers willing to do whatever they need to to get a better grade. none of them are free thinkers like IB is supposed to teach. If you want an IB experience, stay up for 48 hours, only eating non-solid foods. your body wiill deteriorate to the average life of an IB student. On another note, I am completely uncommited, make sure my IB coordinater knows it, and still am on track to get the diploma, its a test to see if you can stay sane and still bullshit to your best. honestly, its not worth it. listen to some punk records, you'll learn alot more about the world and think alot free'r than most IB students.
