Is IE8 really THAT bad?

i keep hearing how people are having problems with IE8. i was gonna download it but now i'm 2nd guessing it.

so is it that bad?

btw i tried the firefox thing...wasn't for me. so please don't say try it out.

Internet explorer anything in my opinion is bad. Every version gets worse. Microsoft is no longer capable of delivering a simple web browser.

If you don't like firefox, you could try opera. I like opera personally, but I still prefer firefox, though Opera is faster.

No, it's not!

I tried the IE8 beta 2, and it actually rocks!

The memory consumption on IE8 was less than IE7.

It is much faster.

I love the accelerators.

It has an InPrivate mode, which doesn't leave traces on your machine.

It is only a beta, so I checked it out on a secondary computer, and would not install it on my primary work computer, but when it's out, I will be the first to replace my IE7 with it (and yes, I have tried FF).

If you give IE8 a chance, you won't be disappointed. I wasn't (and I'm criticizing Microsoft when they deserve this).

IE8 Beta has proven to have a HUGE memory requirement and I would not recommend it. A low profile browser that I would recommend would be Apple's Safari if you did not like FireFox. Opera is another good one also.

i downloaded IE8 Beta 2 the last version for it ,

and its crashing a lot with the websites ,

and hanging a lot ,

so i dont advice you to try it right now ,

until maybe they will put Beta 3 or the final version ,
