Question:

Is IGS (now becoming PSW) a fairly simple visa to acquire?

I'm curious, with 'Post-study work scheme' how straightforward it is to apply for such a visa. I've read that the new scheme no longer allows for applying in person either. As far as I know I meet all the requirements, UK degree completed (as of this time next year, when I would be applying), £800 in the bank for 3+ months, seeking work...my main concern is that my university has been telling us that many people are being turned down recently due to working more than their allotted 20 hours a week during term time. I've been very careful to stay on top of this, but when we get paid bonus, they put it on our paycheck as hours (though it does say bonus). If I send a letter explaining that these are not hours worked, but rather bonuses for meeting targets, with example pay slips, I hope this will not be an issue. Does anyone have experience with IGS? have any of you been turned down? if so what have you done? cheers!
