Is INR 30,000 per month an acceptable salary in Delhi?

Staying in Delhi for one year with basic salary INR 30,000 per month, accommodation, transportation and others not covered by the company. Bonuses not included though. Is it sort of acceptable or even good? Not quite so sure about the living standard there.

Thanks,

Max

  1. it depends on ur style of livin n no of people in  ur famaly.... if u r alone it is good enough......

  2. For what position/field are they offering this ? If you add details to your question we can judge better whether it is a fair or a below par offer.

Seems on the lower side even they provide accomodation and transport ---  daily food expenses including  eating out, miscellanous  personal expenses, household help, gas/petrol for travel etc.  will eat up INR 15-20 K per month on a moderate lifestyle.

  3. Depends if you accept it or not.

  4. Itis reasonably good salary for moderate comfortableliving..

  5. Hi Max,

If u have your own home in delhi & u r still single then it's good. But you must have growth chances in this job. Rest It depends upon the individual.

  6. Really your question is little bit less informative, because it does not mention your family members carrying with you,in

Delhi in which part your working place would be offered? For determination of resonability of your income few more details are required. However in Delhi with a person having wife and one or children, you can live but can't enjoy the life.If you don't have any responsibility then you can accept it for living in Delhi, but it is not comfortable.
