I know it doesn't taste that great, but has a neat story about why it is called India Pale Ale.  During the British occupation of India, Brits would send kegs of beer to their troops in India.  However, the beer would spoil by the time it reached India.  As a result, brewers found that increasing the hop content in beer caused it to last longer as hops serve as a preservative.  Thus that type of beer became known as India Pale Ale.

Not willing to taste it myself to find out - I think that would kill my taste buds!  (And me...)

Thought you meant India Pale Ale there for a moment, and I got sad.  I know a lot of people don't like the hops, but to me they're tasty!
