It is good for players because of it & 20-20 many of the countries r able to cross 300 in oneday match.

Even if it is just playing for money type of game, it is good for players only. Only they are earning money. I think this is in one way helps to identify different players' ability. If we play only international matches, they can select only so many players and we can watch only their play and if they loose, we tend to think that is fate. Now we know that there are so many other capable players who also would be chosen if somebody's performance is poor. So, indirectly it helps for quality play.

It's both becoz players are earning loads of money as well as learning! Before the introduction of T20 format, 300+ score in ODI was very difficult to achieve but now even 350+ score is not enough! Players are playing aggressive shots and at the same time not throwing their wicket cheaply! We see frequent sixes and boundaries now a days! Apart from all this, IPL is good for cricket in India....this a very important tournament for many young talents...they are sharing the dressing room with legends like McGrath, Warne, Sachin, Gilchrist, etc...and so learning a lot! IPL is certainly a boon for Indian cricket!

I feel that IPL is a good tournament of players because the players are learning something out of it.It serves as an entertaining way of playing for players as well as money making for players and for the sponsers . I think only way it benefits players is money otherwise they gets injured like hayden did and about talent I don't think IPL success can help players in test matches only 1 out of 15 T20 players can perform well in test matches
