  1.    The pharmaceutical category for Ibuprofen is NSAID- non steroidal anti inflammatory drug, so yes, it is an anti inflammatory .

  2. yes, anti-inflammatory drug

  3. It is indeed an anti-inflammatory, but not to a significant degree unless taken regularly over a prolonged period of time. For instance, if you've just twisted your ankle, it'll probably be healed before you can get an anti-inflammatory action from the ibuprofen, and you're just as well off taking Tylenol. On the other hand, if you have arthritis, it's a fine choice with a good safety profile.

  4.   To a very small degree, yes. However,Ibuprofen, as well as Tylenol can become a kidney and pancreas, and liver killer if you consume it too long and on a daily basis!  In that regard, it is definitely inflammatory, and I would never prescribe its use in the first place! Just herbs, bed rest and plenty of liquids.

  5. Yes, it is an anti-inflammatory medication, being under the classification NSAIDs or Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug. It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.

  6. It is basically an anti inflammatory analgesic agent. If you study its mechanism of action , it reduces pain, inflammation and fever all through the same mechanism.

  7. Yes, It is used for relief of symptoms of arthritis, primary dysmenorrhea, fever, and as an analgesic, especially where there is an inflammatory component.

  8.   IBUPROFEN IS ONEOF THE         NSAIDS

    DRUGS

SO IT IS  ANTI INFLAMMATORY DRUG

    GOOD LUCK

  9. Yes, it relieves pain and inflammation. I had to take Ibuprofen a while back when I had a pulled muscle--not because the muscle was causing me pain, but because the doctor said the inflammation had to go down to speed up the healing process. Hope this helps. :)
