Is Ikea's stuff good quality?

It's pretty cheap price wise- is it cheap in quality too?

You get what you pay for BUT my daughter has alot of items from IKEA that I think are very nice and I wish they had an IKEA in San Antonio. I would buy from them!

nope,ikea stuff lasts for ages,

i tried dismantling an ikea bookcase,was very hard too lol

Well anything I"ve got from Ikea has held up fine so far.

If you want the furniture to last one year....it's worth the money. If you want the furniture to be of good quality and last many years, don't buy "anything" from IKEA!!!!!!

It never was.  It is furniture made for college kids or folks just starting off.  If you want quality try stores like Robb & Stucky or Drexel Heritage.

its ok. If you have a busy household, with a lot of kids then I wouldnt recommend it.



I bought a lot of my stuff from ikea and I found that a lot of it needs some modification.

For example I bought those floating shelves and they started to sag, so i had to go buy braces for them a few days later.

It all looks really good tho. No one can believe how little I paid for my decor. My husband and I are pretty broke and we had just bought our house so ikea kinda saved us from living in an empty house.

some of ikea's products are better than others.  i personally like their kitchen products and their food.  some of their bigger furniture isn't as well made as they could be.  i have a desk from ikea which i love.  it all depends on what you are looking for and what you are willing to spend.
