Certainly, they have nuclear capabilities, strong cohesion internally through Hinduism, and economically are very strong, even if they have a billion people there.

Believe it or not, India is one of the most powerful nations on earth. They have the worlds' third largest army, fourth largest navy and fifth largest air force. They are one of only a few nations capable of projecting military power world wide. They have nuclear, biological and chemical capacities and a well trained, experienced officer corps. They are not to be taken lightly. I'm glad they're our allies.

Yes very slowly ,but yes. Their #1 enemy is pakistan they almost went at it last year..they both have nukes.

Yes. And I believe that India is on their way to becoming a major military power, and will be number 3, with the USA #1, and Peoples Republic of China, #2, before 2020.

wat do u mean by powerfull. to gather more and more army around u.no importance to welfare of people. Use of power without any reason in Kashmir is becoming powerfull. How can u define powerfull??
