Is India going to be a great "sports market" after IPL??

True IPL is a HUGE SUCCESS.

India has the potential to be a sport market - that is where the

economy is going on strong. There is potential and has to be

properly marketed as cricket has been dominating and will

continue to do so until India starts winning in other sports.

I do not think that basketball will be a success in India - because

for 2 main reasons - People are not tall enough and don' take

me wrong, an Indian average jump no more than 6 inches.

Basketball needs good jumps and have passion for the game.

Any sport to be a success has to be able to circumvent around

cricket. It will be a long shot.
