  1. i would say no.

for surely we have indian food but might not be so easy to find probably as in Britain.

  2. Depends on which city/town .

  3. Not nearly as much as in the UK. Here we tend to like Chinese or Mexican food more.

  4. yh -x

  5. depending on the city/town in this country you live in. Where I live all types have their following and are popular.

  6. it depends what part of america you choose to go... but i would say not that much...

  7. Not like Chinese is, but there's a growing population who like it a lot. My guess it a lot of it is Americanized like Chinese is. I know of at least three Indian buffets in the area. A lot of Indian flavors are pretty alien to most Americans. Curry is one of the more common ones.

  8. It is popular in the bigger cities, esp if their is a high concentration of Indians in the area.  But not compared to the UK, it seems they have adopted Indian food as their own over there.  In that case, here in the US, Mexican cuisine fits that bill as our "adopted" cuisine.

Vegetarians like Indian food for the many varieties and options it provides for veg people.

  9. See our country is opened minded we love everything what ever we get from the world whether is Food or Movie.

and in UK most population is Hindu so their eating habits are same as us.

  10. If there are high concentration of Subcontinent population in a particular state or city in USA the food is surely going to be popular similarly to britian

  11. i am iranian. and never in america. i don't knew. please try again later.

  12. Nope... not really.... to answer ur question... 'try finding a table on a Sunday afternoon in a Mexican or Chinese restaurant in the U.S. when everybody gets out of church... you will be waiting in line, trust me.

  13. My boss is from India, he says that it is not as popular, but there are a whole bunch of Indian restaurants here too.

  14. I don't know ANYONE who actually likes it.....and the Indian restaurants never have any cars parked there either

  15. Not as popular as Britian, but I wouls say it is growing and you can DEF find it in every major city.

    I personally LOVE IT!

  16. It depends on the location. It's definitely not as popular as in Britain, but in some areas there's a pretty big market for it. (Where I live there are quite a few Indians and you can find Indian restaurants everywhere, especially buffets.) Americanized Chinese food would be a more popular "ethnic" cuisine. Same with Japanese and Mexican (and Italian, if you consider that ethnic.)

  17. CRAZY popular in some of the cities, but probably not as much as the UK because Indian immigration only started in the US after 1967 or so, so we have less time exposed to it.

  18. There is a couple of places here in Tulsa and they are always busy. I don't like the lamb and the person who went with me ordered the chicken and it looked the same and both tasted really about the same.
