Is InstantCasting.com really work?

Ok I am 31yrs old. I have been wanting to be an actress since age 10. But just never had to connections and lived in the right cities. The opportunity am once when i was 16 to become a professional model in london. But my mother wouldn't let me do it that hurt my heart. So now i'm trying again. I want to join Instantcasting.com. But i don't want to be just giving money away and it don't help me. I did that with talent6 and nothing happen. Have anybody known instantcasting to be successful for people or they just get sell u a dream by getting your money.

Can someone help me???????

  1. No - you never give an agent or casting company any money. An agent makes money when YOU make money, and that's all.

    The way to get acting is to get into acting classes, keep learning and you will meet other actors and they can guide you to the right people. There is so much to learn - first, how to act and how to audition, how to find an agent, how to do headshots, working on stage vs. film. Professional actors are always taking class - it's a lifelong commitment.

    You can also write to the actors' unions - Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) and Actors' Equity for information on the business side (or look online).  

    It's a process, not instant. You don't need connections - just start where you are. (I started acting at age 40 - took classes from a reputable school, and then made connections and starting auditioning and working. It IS possible.)

    Good luck - it can be a fun business. Never dull.
