Is Intel pentium dual core T2080 fast?

Core 2 Duos have lots of reasons as to why it would be faster than a Pentium Dual-Core. Two of those reasons would be ReadyBoost Technology, where the processor will temporarily over-clock itself to perform better in a certain task. The second one would be the L2 Cache level, which determines how fast the computer can store temporary files and open up files, but if you are on a slower PC, this relies on the RAM.

I would definitely go for the core 2 duo unless your just using your computer for just stuff like browsing the web and word processing with little multitasking.I would not recommend it for gaming though.

id go with the new quad cores. those things are crazy
