Is Internet Explorer 7 better than Mozilla Firefox 3?

I like IE7 tabs better and the look betterbut like Firefox for spell check and session restore. I like both browser equally but which should I choose?

Not at all. Firefox is MUCH better.

You can easily make FF3 look like IE7 using a theme. (Tabs will be similar also)

I prefer Firefox. Firefox starts up faster, its easier to use, it doesn't use as much ram, it has more options than internet explorer. It is better in many ways.

It's all a matter of user opinion.  Personally through my experience I've found that IE 7 is more stable than Firefox.  However, Firefox has more features (and better features) than IE 7.  So for me, it's how much problems do I want to tolerate?  So I choose IE 7...the extra features found in Firefox I don't need.  But again, that's my opinion.

IE will never surpass Firefox. Firefox is much better and much safer.

You can get iespell checker for explorer. It's a free add-on.

If you like the look of ie, but the reliability of firefox, you can get the best of both worlds when you get firefox, as the addon "vista aero" makes firefox look like ie!. When you have finished installing firefox, load up firefox, go to tools, addons, click get addons, than browse all addons search for vista aero in the webpage, and follow the links
