  1. Iran is in Asia between Turkey and Iraq in the West, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan in the North, and Afghanistan and Pakistan in the East.

The Caspian Sea forms much of the boundary of the country in the North and the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman form a sea boundary to the South.

I hope Solid Snake has a mission there. He already saved us about twice from those superhuman robots aka METAL GEAR. If you do not know who he is, he is a fictional character created by the great novelist, Hideo Kojima. The METAL GEAR novels are his greatest and most famous works. It involves a spy sent by the CIA to sneak on the enemies and destroy the superhuman robots (METAL GEAR). In the second novel, he defeats the cyborg also known as solidus snake. He comments on the cyborg's name, claiming that he ripped off solid snake's name. But that just heated the battle, but Solid Snake won by pulling the trigger of his trusty water gun, squirting with much precision, the water traveled to the circuits of the cyborg, triggering solidus snake to explode.

Yes, that is the story of Solid Snake (second novel).

The name Iran is a cognate of Aryan, and means "Land of the Aryans".

The 18th largest country in the world in terms of area at 1,648,195 km², Iran has a population of over seventy million. Iran is a country of special geostrategic significance, because of its central location in Eurasia. Iran is bordered on the north by Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and the Caspian Sea; on the east by Afghanistan and Pakistan; on the south by the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman; and on the west by Turkey and Iraq. Tehran is the capital, largest city and the political, cultural, commercial, and industrial center of the nation.

Iran is the eighteenth largest country in the world after Libya and before Mongolia. Its area roughly equals that of the United Kingdom, France, Spain, and Germany combined, or slightly less than the state of Alaska. Its borders are with Azerbaijan (432 km/268 mi) and Armenia (35 km/22 mi) to the north-west; the Caspian Sea to the north; Turkmenistan (992 km/616 mi) to the north-east; Pakistan (909 km/565 mi) and Afghanistan (936 km/582 mi) to the east; Turkey (499 km/310 mi) and Iraq (1,458 km/906 mi) to the west; and finally the waters of the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman to the south. Iran's area is 1,648,000 km² (approximately 636,300 sq mi).
