  1. NO, on a British passport on the front it will see GREAT BRITAIN and NORTHERN IRELAND. Britain or Great Britain is one Island, Northern Ireland is not but is part of the Unite Kingdom. As for Republic of Ireland or Eire it is a foreign country to the UK.
