Is Isla Margarita affordable,safe and beautiful?

I know Venezuela hasnt been a top tourist destination in the caribean for a while but is Isla Margarita diffrent?does it enjoy white sand beaches,affordable hotels and most importanly is it safe?

Venezuela receives a lrge number of tourists annually. I is a very beautiful country with many amazing places to visit, explore, ect. The Isla de Margarita (Margarita Island) is one of the top destinations for Venezuelans and other tourists visiting Venezuela. There is a sizable police presence, they even have tourist police and guides around the island. It is very beautiful and the beaches there are great, so picturesque. There are many expensive hotels on the island, but you can find cheap ones as well. I recall there being hostels there too which are extremely cheap, I never feel unsafe being in Venezuela, even less so on the island.

Not really beautiful, mediocre hotels, difficult transportation and poor service.  There are SOOOO many better places in the Caribbean than Venezuela. Lots of guns in Venezuela....
