  1. no, it is just accepted by the zionist lobby who own the bush-cheney government and who have veto power in the UN through this channel.

  2. So you would rather that they sent mentally retarded women or children into Palestinian areas loaded down with explosives like their enemies have done?

  3. no just in the USA only  Israelis do not relies that they are doing  same to Palestinians what Hitler did to Jews

  4. It's accepted by the US, and in our eyes, anyone opposed to it is our enemy. We are just as guilty as Israel is over the plight of the Palestinians-- we provide them with almost all their weapons, including the cluster bombs they used illegally against the Lebanese. Sadly, we seem to be unwilling to recognize the human rights of Palestinians, and as long as we deny them any political voice, they will continue to use violence as their means of gaining attention.

Until something drastic changes in our government, or Europe learns to stand apart from us, we will continue our disproportionate support of Israeli policies, their illegal settlements, and their refusal to return to their pre-1967 borders. No state should have the right to deny any other state the basic necessity of electricity-- what happened to the Treaty of Westphalia and state sovereignty? I understand the idea of sanctions and using economic pressure to encourage political change, but it should never be used as punishment against an entire population for the actions of a few individuals.

  5. No it is not accepted.  It is almost universally deplored.  However, no one is going to do anything about it because both sides are equally motivated to destroy the other and taking any firm position on the issue brings hatred from almost everyone.

When reasonable Israelis and Palestinians can get together with a solution acceptable to both, I think the international community will be quick to offer its support.

  6. Israel was subjected to Arab terror in the past 60 years. If the Arabs fire Kassam rockets, send suicide bombers and take Israeli hostages, Israel has the right to defend herself. In the same way as the British defended Britain against the n**i V rockets, Israel has the right to defend the country against the Kassams. The Palestinians have an Arab Palestinian State, called Jordan and the Jewish people has a Jewish State called Israel. The Arabs control a huge land area, Israel is tiny. Be fair and realistic! Enjoy your life in Jordan and let us live in Israel and live the US out of your own sh.t.

  7. The world issue with Israel for the last few years is Israel want to keep occupying land that was never part of Israel. The Israeli occupation is maintained by collective punishments of the native people of Palestine. The US is protecting the Israeli illegal actions by the use of veto in the UN security council.

  8. this will not stop until arab mothers love their children more than they hate jews

  9. The saddest part of this situation, is that both sides are guilty of atrocities....I'm from an American mixed family, Jewish and Catholic, and feel that the extreme positions by both sides have so poisoned the process that there is little hope for peace.  I think the US should demand that Israel return to the 1967 borders, cut off funding and help if they allow illegal settlements to stay (the key word is ILLEGAL), and then consider making Jerusalem it's own entity like the Vatican is, and have the 3 major religions form a counsel to co-rule the area.....

I also believe that the US and other countries should recognize Hamas as the legitimate elected form of government for the Palestinian people and find a way to begin negotiations to help them build their country .....

For anyone to not recognize the plight of the Palestinians as horrific is to refuse to face the fact that Israel is acting more like their former persecutors than a legitimate country whose goal is to live in peace and harmony with its neighbors. My cousins have served in the Israeli army and have been horrified at the way their Palestinian friends and neighbors have been treated by Israeli forces that are not from the area....

I'm just afraid that after a Jewish extremist assasinated Prime Minister Rabin, that all hope for peace died with him.

Even he began to see that the only way for a just resolution was to find a way to talk to one another, face their own complicity in the ongoing crisis and stop killing one another.

  10. It is accepted by the west because of the media control by certain interests and the US government which supports Israel.

It is not accepted all over the world, as Americans who travel to other countries can attest. US news is heavily manipulated.

During the Lebanon bombing recently, Israel bombed a clearly marked UN building because the peacekeepers inside were sending back reports that the Israelis were bombing civilians.     This was reported in Canada. The widows of the UN peacekeepers were upset. Even the Canadian government seems mysteriously quiet about the incident.
