Is It Bad To Warm Up Your Fishbowl Water (NOT WITH THE FISH IN IT) To Get It To Room Temperature???

i know that its not that good to warm up things by the microwave because the stuff in it i just don'

t want to wait for the water to get warm and if you know, can you tell me where to buy a silk plant for my betta?please and thank you

  1. well if it is for a betta then you should already have a heater in your tank and you can buy silk plants at your local pet store for about $3 but if you want to, which is better is you can go with live plants it is much better for the tank


  2. just simply let the water sit out for 24 hours, this will adapt it to room temperature

    also a bowl is not the right and adequate home for a betta to start with

    a 2.5 gallon tank with heater and filter is the bare minimum

  3. I have 10 aquariums set up and running and I don't have time to wait for the water to warm up (from cold tap water). I use the Python water changer that will syphon the water out of the tanks and then by adjusting the temp to tank temp, I will refill the tanks. As I am adding the water to the tanks, I will add the water conditioners. The fish are thriving and even breeding in this habit that i have of changing at least 25% of the water each week and some of them even more, it depends on the fish load in the tank.
