Is It Just Me, Or Is Seeing Kyle Busch Win Races Disappointing To You Too?

I can't wait for the weekend to see a great Nascar race, but when a driver like Kyle Busch wins, it just brings me down. I'm not sure what it is but i find my self saying every race "anyone but Kyle Busch".

I was saying that all of last year when Jeff & Jimmie was winning all those races. I dont think the anaesthesia has wore off Kurt yet from his plastic surgery for his ears to be competetive this year.

Very good answer Boondie. I agree. Its actually a refreshing change to me. My guy will get his wins soon enough. Kyle and his team deserve it. They are working the hardest.

I'm with ya on that one!! I'm a Jr fan but if KB is winning I'll root for anyone else to win!! I just can't stand the guy (and I've always felt that way not just from the Richmond Race) I think KB is way to cocky and disrespectful on and off the track. So I'd definitely like to see anyone except for him to win!! ( sorry KB fans nothing against you!)

I do hate seeing him win, yes I certainly do.  I also understand what most are saying about all the other folks that work on his car, team, family & sponsors and I wish them well, I really do. I hate seeing Cocky Kyle win that's all.

I will say he does make things interesting.  I used to throw things jump up and down and yell vulgarities at my TV when Stewart won did good or was his usual annoying self but now he has mellowed a bit & I was getting worried I wasn't going to have anyone to scream at BUT then Kyle Bush has stepped right in and took over my most hated driver spot.   So I like him for that does it count?  LOL!!

I love it when Kyle Busch wins and his winning lifts me up and then I can't wait for the next race. I then find myself saying "if anyone Kyle".

This is one of those weird deals where I'm a Gibbs fan, but not really a Kyle fan- kind of a holdover from being a football fan. I like seeing JGR do well for Joe's sake, even if I'm not all that into Kyle- espcially not his attitude.

The boy's got mad talent and makes things entertaining though.

The dominance won't likely last long. Actually, if you think about it, Cousin Carl (yay) has as many wins as Shrub does and JB, Jimmie, Hamlin, Bowyer, "Newman!" have all won races with Kahne and Junior winning non-points events.

So-he's not really THAT dominant.

Nope, i love it. I was at the Darlington race and was probably about the only one cheering for him!! It's ok, he won though!!!!

Good question! I felt the same way last year when HMS seemed to own every race! I just kept hoping that something would happen to change the winning streak they were on. Along came the COT, Toyota, or whatever and scrambled things up! I'm not a Kyle Busch fan per say, but I'm glad it happened! It was so boring last year knowing who was going to win each week. Kyle is to inconsistent to win every week so it's OK with me. Carl also has three wins this year! What any of the drivers do off the track, short of a felony, doesn't effect the way I feel about them as a driver. It is racing and as was said above Kyle Busch and his JGR team are out working the other teams right now! That will change, it is just a matter of time, as it was with HMS! They are still very competitive, but just not as much so!!!

Kyle seems to have no respect for the sport or the people in it. he is going to get someone hurt or killed some day and seems to think that he is a great driver. He needs to grow up and lose the attitude!!! I hate him as much as I hate Jeff Gordon & his boyfriend Jimmy Johnson!!

I hate the fact that he is winning because Toyota is not on an even playing field. The get advantages by NASCAR. He ticks all the fans off with his cockyness.

I feel the same way I have to go to friggin school all week and do c**p work and I look forward to the races each week but when Busch wins I feel like I waited a week for nothing. At Darlington I was like

"OK, Jr. is 4th so that's pretty good. If he can finish there I'll be happy...unless Kyle Busch wins." Sure enough, he did. I'm so sick of him winning. With him here, it's like golf. Why watch it, we already know Tiger / Kyle will win.

I think what Kyle Busch is doing is great. I love to see a young driver come into his own. The domination won't last, he's just on a roll right now.

I love Kenseth but when you see Kyle do his wild thing you have to appreciate the fact that he is bringing a thrill to racing and he is like it or not, proving to be quite the thorn in HMS side...

Disappointing?  Not really.  The fact that Nascar bends over backwards for Toyota and all their money is disappointing.

Seeing Scrub win races does have me hopeful though.  With each and every race, I become more and more hopeful that he will slam into the wall (SAFER barrier protected or not), blow an engine, or get beamed with a beer can during his pompous "victory bow".

Remember when it used to be that way when Jeff Gordon won? Kyle is not my favorite, either, but he is a great talent in good equipment so he will have a shot at winning every week.

I like watching Kyle Busch winning races ever since he moved to Gibbs racing becuase that was my favorite chevy and is now my favorite Toyota team to root for they have their ups and downs but can usually get the job done.

It's annoying when a driver is dominant, and it's not your driver. Yeah, I've often had those thoughts about both Busch brothers, but it passes. I take a mature look at the situation and keep in mind that a lot of hardworking people are behind that car, and they're happy. So good for them. I get over it quickly.

Maybe if he wasn't so cocky, and has no repect for anyone. I'm sure your driver Burton will be back up there #1 in the points real soon.. I never cared for the Shrub and this was way before Richmond.. I've just never cared for him, this goes back to when he was at HMS as well..

Yeah I know what you mean. I usually watch the after race victory lane interviews and the other interviews after the last race that Busch won I just turned the channel as soon as he crossed the line because I did not want to hear a word that person said.

I don't mind that he wins races. I just object to the disrespect that he shows to other drivers and to all the fans. And I don't mean just Junior's fans.

You are not alone on this one! I could care less how many races he wins but I can sure do without his arrogance. Not to mention his whole pit crew doing it at the All Star race. He does it to annoy the fans and he's doin' a great job of it. I have to agree with Lynn....it's not just Juniors fans he annoys...it all the drivers fans. His childish behavior is just more fuel for the NASCAR haters. His day will come.

At least Kurt has grown up.

I love seeing Kyle come from the end of the longest line and still win by more than 3 seconds. Go Rowdy!! Get used to it, this is just the beginning!

I'm starting to hate him more than I hate Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Robby Gordon, Waltrip, and Harvick all put together

If any of the 5 put Kyle into the wall, I would find a new respect for that driver !

Yes, I feel the same way. I was so pumped when his engine blew in the all star race. Obviously he's a talented driver but he's such a jerk. I hope he does good in that F1 deal he's doing, that he leaves Nascar. He belongs more with those pompous stuck up foreigners. And his whole bowing before the all star race just shows what kind of punk he is. I'm sure I will get a bunch of thumbs down from all the bandwagon busch fans that weren't his fans until this year.

i have to admit I cannot stand the guy literally. But he has some crazy and outragious moves out on the track. But when he wins the race I just turned it off when they interview him. Cannot stand his arrogance.

That was me last year with the HMS/Jimmie/Jeff shows. This year I find Kyle Busch very entertaining. Do I cheer for him to win? No. But am I disappointed when he does? No.

Now you know how everyone else felt last year when it was the jimmie/jeff show. Personally, I love kyle and smoke and denny, and I could watch them win all year long!!!

When I have had a bad week at school or work (or both) whatching a race makes it all better.  But not when Kyle wins!

He is too cocky, and rude!  It really ruins the race for me.

The fact that he is in a Toyota doesn't matter to me.  I think bringing in new cars and drivers from other countries is OK.

(Not that I like Montoya's driving style one bit though)
