Is It Normal For Metformins To Make U Stay On Ur Period Until U Stop Taking Them...?

I have had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome since 2006 and every time i take mah metformins i get mah period but it stays on until i stop takin the pill one time it lasted for 28 days..

No not at all normal. I also have pcos for years now. I am taking 2000mg a day for 4 months now and that has never happened, also I tookit back in 2005 to help conceive my son. I took it for 3 months then and never happened. In fact it has helped to regulate my cycles so that I am ovulating and can conceive again. Something is wrong, I would se my Dr. as soon as possible.
