Is It Okay To Go Back On This Vitamin?

i am 13 years old and the last time i took my vitamin (flinstone chewables) was in the begining of june. i havent taken a vitamin since then. is it ok if i start taking it again?? will i have a weird reaction since i havent had it in so long?? will i throw up or anything?? im sorry if i sound crazy, but i am only 13 and have no knowledge about this! PLEASEEE HELP ME!!!!

  1. It's perfectly safe to go back on them, just as it was safe when you first started taking them in the first place. The Flintstone chewables are for children (starting around age 2 or 4, I believe), but can be used by people of any age. The optimal age tends to top out around the teens, just because teenagers need different doses of those nutrients than children do.

    You won't have a weird reaction if you didn't have one before and you shouldn't throw up or even get nauseous from it, so there's no need to worry about that. If you are looking for a good multi, though, I would recommend looking for a teen multi from your health food store, as that would be more specifically suited to your growing body. Good luck!


  2. those are children's vitamins and probably not meeting  YOUR daily requirement for your bigger body now.  You're ready for adult vitamins.

    Or double up on the Flintstones.
