  1. Why would you even WANT to?  As a beginner you already have a hard enough time learning how to play a guitar without having to mentally switch things.  There is NO SUCH THING as anyone who is so right hand dominant that they can't learn to play with a left hand guitar without having to turn it over... there are only people who are too stubborn to do things like everyone else does.

People point to Paul McCartney because he plays right handed, but he is also SELF TAUGHT and when people teach theirselves, they create a lot of problems with their bad techniques... McCartney get's away with it because he is a GENIUS.

  4. Paul McCartney plays upside down, so I guess it's ok.

  5. It's music babe, whatever works!

Jimi Hendrix and Paul McCartney played upside down, and Jeff Heally plays it on his lap (he's blind!).

  6. Only if you want to learn how to read music or tabs, then it gets tricky.  Some left handed guitarists do that.  Also I believe Jimi Hendrix did it.  Technically it is okay if you are playing the notes right, and playing well!
