Is It Okay/What Would Happy If I Mixed Hydrocodone and Xanax?

I guess that's about the extent of my question... I'm currently in the airport and I've taken a xanax on my last flight and while waiting for my next flight I was thinking of taking a hydrocodone because my back is literally killing me...

Safe? Yay or nay?? If nay, why?

Defiantly no, that is what happened to Heath Ledger

plus if the flight attendants think you look buzzed or high, they will get you kicked off of the plain

No, definitely not safe as both drugs carry interaction warnings.  They both are respiratory depressants and can slow your heart rate and breathing to below normal rates causing something called bradycardia which can be fatal in some circumstances.  Just take an advil or aleve or motrin instead or wait four hours.  Good luck!
