  1. yea you could

they have travel guides where you take a bus and they go by there houses ....that increases your chance

also if you go to the old eaterys you can ask around

    places like Pinks hotdogs.....

but who cares there so much more to do

got to the beach Malibu is nice but so is Huntington and Newport those are in the OC

  2. Not typically. Hollywood itself is kind of a dump.

Go to the Malibu Country Mart. Parking is bad, but TMZ seems to always film somebody there. Nobu is popular for sushi and expensive. Planet Blue is popular for shopping.

Just FYI, don't act like a fool.  Most of the people want to be left alone.

  3. Chances are good if you go to The Ivy Restaurant in West Hollywood for lunch. You can also see the paparazzi across the street stalking them.

  4. Yea absolutely, but you will see more paparazzis than celebs.

  5. The stars never go to the Hollywood area except for special events like movie premiers and award shows.

  6. I'll go you one step further... you could be part of the background shot of a movie or t.v. show and not know it.

When your out there stay sharp/keep your eye's open/you never know when some Director is looking for a certain look and may "DISCOVER" YOU !!!

  7. Absolutely!  Though not in the actual Hollywood area, because as another one of your posters said, Hollywood is pretty run-down and touristy.  It's not impossible.  There will sometimes be movie premieres at the Chinese Theatre, and celebs will come out for events like that.  You'll better your chances if you go to the westside of Los Angeles, though.

You'll see them in just completely random circumstances most of the time.  I've seen Michael J. Fox running the stairs at the track stadium at UCLA, I've seen Arnold Schwarzenegger at my hair salon.  Kevin Bacon driving on the freeway.  Just keep your eyes open!

    --->Good Luck!

  8. "Muppet" is correct on two counts.

The Hollywood of today, as opposed to it's hay days of the 1920's, 30's, and 40's, is just a dirty section of Los Angeles full of prostitutes, homeless, and run away kids. It does, however, have a few things that attract tourists. Celebrities don't go there unless the have to.

She is correct also that celebrities don't want to be bothered when they are out on the town. The proper etiquette upon seeing one is to respect their privacy, and leave them alone.

The people who are telling you that you see celebrities all the time in Hollywood are full of (you know what).

  9. Absolutely.  If you watch the TV shows like TMZ, they are always at celebrity hang outs.  Just do the same and hang out where they do.

Try Rodeo Drive or Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, the Sunset Strip club areas, Pinks Hot Dogs in La Brea etc. - just keep your eyes peeled.

You can sometimes get into popular restaurants in the off hours.  It's not always "in Hollywood", but if you're out and about for a few days, I bet you'll see some celebs. I've literally had them crossing the street in front of my car.  Granted this has only happened a couple of times, but it has happened.

  10. Yep, my brother use to live in LA and he use to run into famous people all the time.
